Quality Control key statistical metrics are
generated by the internal Quality Improvement Team (QIT).
Statistical metrics include the External Defect Rate (customer
reported manufacturing issues) and the Internal Defect Rate
(quality control reported manufacturing issues). The Quality
Improvement Team is an internal organization that is responsible
for improving quality across the company. It is comprised of
various departmental personnel on a rotating basis.
